So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
MONO – “RUN ON”
Japanese post-rock vets MONO have shared “Run On,” the nine-minute second single from their upcoming album OATH. Like the recently-released title track, it finds the band in gorgeously climactic form.

I grew up with music reminding me about ‘love love love’ but that doesn’t reach me anymore. So I want the song to be my first song ever about just that, ’cause over my 9 albums made, I’ve been yet to write my first song about love.”

LIZ LAMERE – “VIBRATION”
Liz Lamere, who was Alan Vega’s partner and musical collaborator, has announced new solo album, One Never Knows, which will be out June 14 via In the Red. First single “Vibration” is an icy cool shard of synthwave. “Vibration is about personal empowerment,” Liz says. “The pulse represents our life force and the power that comes from within. It’s about commanding that force and manifesting what we want to see in the mirror’s reflection. It’s about believing until the impossible becomes the probable.”
