Kansas City mathcore vets Coalesce recently announced that they’d be reuniting for the first time in 12 years to play Alabama’s Furnace Fest, and now they’ve announced Brooklyn and Philly reunion shows with the great Cave In! The shows happen at Brooklyn’s Meadows on October 19 with Majority Rule offshoot NØ MAN (who just released their great new LP Glitter and Spit) and Philly’s First Unitarian Church on October 20 with Rid of Me (who dropped Access To The Lonely last year). Tickets go on sale Friday (6/7) at 10 AM.

Half of Cave In (Stephen Brodsky & Adam McGrath) will also be in NYC sooner than that for an acoustic set at Metal Injection’s 20th anniversary festival at Brooklyn Monarch in September (9/21-9/22).

The last time Coalesce played NYC (if we’re not mistaken) was at Le Poisson Rouge in 2010 with Harvey Milk and The Atlas Moth. Check out pics from that show.
