EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY

Having just completed their trek across the Pacific Northwest and Canada, post-rock greats Explosions in the Sky have announced new 2025 tour dates happening in the spring, where they’ll hit Raleigh, Orlando, New Orleans, Knoxville, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Kingston, NY (Ulster PAC on 4/10), and more.

If you were wondering whether Oasis could sell out stadiums in North America, they’ve added second dates in a few cities.

EAGLES @ SPHERE

Eagles have extended their residence at Las Vegas’ Sphere to include four more shows, happening February 14, 15, 21, and 22. They’ve also got Sphere dates in October, November, December and January. All dates are here.

MJ LENDERMAN

MJ Lenderman has postponed three Southeast dates of his tour due to the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

HATEBREED / KNOCKED LOOSE

Knocked Loose‘s upcoming headlining tour just keeps getting cooler. After already announcing the stacked lineup of Drain, Militarie Gun, and The Garden as the tour’s core package, they added Danny Brown to a few dates, and now they’ve added one of their clearest metallic hardcore forebears, Hatebreed, to two shows.

SPORTS TEAM / HOUNDMOUTH

UK band Sports Team, whose new album is out in February, will open for Houndmouth on their upcoming fall tour, including their shows at Asbury Park’s Stone Pony on 11/8 and NYC’s Webster Hall on 11/9.

CARIBOU LISTENING PARTIES

Caribou’s new album Honey is out Friday, and to celebrate Merge Records is partnering with independent record stores across North America on for listening parties. Find a party near you. Caribou will also be on tour this fall.

GOOSE – VIVA EL GONZO FESTIVAL

Goose have announced their own destination festival, Viva El Gonzo, which happens May 8-10, 2025 in San José del Cabo, Mexico. Goose headline all three nights and also playing are War On Drugs, Dawes, Tycho, LP Giobbi, La Lom, and more.

HEMLOCK ERNST (SAM T HERRING)

Hemlock Ernst, the rap alter-ego of Future Islands singer Samuel T. Herring, is gearing up to release a new album, Studying Absence, and will also be playing a few shows.

Joanna Sternberg is throwing a holiday show at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom with  “so many amazing songwriter friends of mine all singing their songs.”

BRAD RAUB TRIBUTE SHOW

To celebrate the life of Brad Raub (of War Hungry, Sumerlands, Eternal Champion, Street Smart Cyclist, and more), who passed away earlier this year at age 36, three of the bands he played in are coming together to play a tribute show in Philly in December.
